Huh, no idea! I’m not sure about the Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports predicament… did Mr. Patterson actually say that it was the final book prior to its release? Or The Final Warning’s release? I have to do some research on that.
I will admit that when I first came upon Nevermore that I didn’t think it would be the last book at all, but more of a red herring to lure us away from the idea of any subsequent books or the actual final book itself. It was advertised as “the end of Maximum Ride” which could be taken in a plethora of different ways if you think about it. Now, however, it seems to be a given that there won’t be any new books after this. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
